TechRadar Poll Shows Fans Bracing for Another GTA 6 Delay
A TechRadar reader poll found most fans doubt Rockstar will hit GTA 6's November 2026 date, citing an unfinished build and possible physical-edition delays.
Back in January, TechRadar ran a reader poll asking whether GTA 6 would be worth the wait after its release date shifted to November 19, 2026. According to TechRadar, 59% of respondents chose 'ask me in 2027,' signaling widespread doubt that Rockstar will hit the date, while only 22% expressed confidence the game will live up to expectations.
TechRadar tied the skepticism to reports that Rockstar may delay physical copies of GTA 6 to avoid spoilers reaching players early, plus earlier comments from Bloomberg's Jason Schreier suggesting the game wasn't content-complete as of his last update — something TechRadar noted is fairly normal for Rockstar's development process.
TechRadar's own take was that repeated delays risk Rockstar missing its cultural moment, though the outlet acknowledged marketing hadn't fully ramped up yet and that sentiment could shift once new trailers or screenshots arrive.
