Rockstar's New Vice City Glimpse Sparks Debate Among GTA VI Fans

TechRadar reported that Rockstar's brief new Vice City footage, released alongside pre-order news, has fans split between awe and nitpicking.
As reported by TechRadar back in June, Rockstar Games unveiled a fresh look at Vice City in Grand Theft Auto 6, arriving alongside the announcement that pre-orders would open on June 25 (pricing still unconfirmed). The reveal included official cover art, updated artwork of protagonists Lucia and Jason, and a short dynamic clip showing Vice City at sunset, complete with helicopters and boats.
According to TechRadar, reactions on Reddit were mixed. Some fans praised the visuals as the most realistic Vice City shot yet, with one saying it "almost looks like real footage." Others pointed to flaws, such as a missing ferris wheel reflection, and raised concerns about how the graphical fidelity — including raytraced water — might perform on current-gen consoles.
Rockstar also updated its social media branding to pink and purple to match the game's aesthetic. GTA 6 remains set for November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no PC release confirmed.
