Leaked Domain Registrations Hint at GTA 6's In-Game Internet Parodies
TechRadar detailed a Tez2 leak pointing to Take-Two-registered domains like RydeMe and What-Up, suggesting GTA 6 parody sites mirroring Uber and WhatsApp.
Months back, TechRadar covered a leak from Rockstar insider Tez2 pointing to a batch of domain names registered by Take-Two Interactive that appear tied to GTA 6. Tez2 said the domains, all registered on May 27, were found under Take-Two's nameservers and could eventually redirect to in-game websites, following the pattern set by GTA IV and V.
The names include what-up.app, rydeme.app, buckme.app, leonidagov.org, brianandbradley.com, and a few odder entries like hookers-galore.com and myboyhasacreepycorndog.com. Fans speculated that what-up.app parodies WhatsApp, rydeme.app resembles Uber or Lyft, and buckme.app could spoof Patreon and OnlyFans. None of the sites are currently live, and TechRadar noted the domains were later shifted to new nameservers after being spotted, complicating further verification.
Parody websites have long been a staple of GTA's in-game satire, lending some plausibility to the find even without direct Rockstar confirmation. With GTA 6's original May 2026 target date now behind us, this leak remains an unconfirmed but consistent piece of the game's larger world-building puzzle rather than fresh news.
