Company Reportedly Plans to Shut Down Operations for GTA 6 Launch Day

TechRadar reported that automotive parts company Burger Motorsports announced an internal 'operational pause' for November 19, the day GTA 6 launches.

As reported by TechRadar last month, automotive tuning company Burger Motorsports issued an internal notice announcing a temporary company-wide 'operational pause' on November 19 — the date GTA 6 is set to launch. The notice reportedly cited staff unavailability once the game drops, warning that departments like customer support, shipping, social media, and order processing could see delays.

According to the outlet, normal operations are expected to resume only once employees have 'completed their initial exploration, finished at least one mission, and returned to reality.' TechRadar noted it was unclear whether the announcement was a genuine policy or a marketing-style joke playing off the hype surrounding the release.

The report also pointed out that GTA 6's November 19 date remains intact, with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick reaffirming it and insider Nate The Hate suggesting only a catastrophic issue could derail it at this point.
