GTA VI Platforms & System Requirements

Here's exactly what Rockstar has confirmed about where GTA VI runs — and an honest answer on the platform it hasn't announced yet.

PlayStation 5

Confirmed for launch on November 19, 2026. No separate PS5 Pro edition has been announced, though enhanced performance on PS5 Pro hardware is typical for Rockstar's past cross-gen titles.

Xbox Series X|S

Confirmed for the same November 19, 2026 launch date, day-and-date with PlayStation 5. No platform-exclusive content has been announced on either console.

PC — not yet announced

Rockstar has not confirmed a PC release. Every mainline GTA has eventually come to PC, typically a year or more after console launch, so a delayed PC version is the reasonable expectation — but treat any specific PC date you see elsewhere as unconfirmed rumor until Rockstar says otherwise.

System requirements

Rockstar has not published PS5/Xbox storage or performance-mode specs, or any PC specs, ahead of release. Widely circulated install-size figures are community estimates, not official numbers — we'll update this page the moment Rockstar publishes real requirements.
