GTA VI Editions Compared

Rockstar has confirmed two editions for launch — there's no separate physical Collector's Edition this time, unlike GTA V's Special/Collector's tiers. Here's exactly what each one gets you.

Standard Edition — $79.99 / £69.99

The base game on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. No exclusive vehicles, weapons, or venues — everything in it is earned or bought in-game like any other player.

Ultimate Edition — $99.99 / £89.99

Everything in Standard, plus an exclusive collection unlocked progressively through the story: the '95 Grotti Cheetah, a modded Vapid Ganado, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, a Shitzu Squalo speedboat, the Dinka Enduro, matched Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, Jason's Girardi ES9 and Lucia's Klose K17 pistols, plus exclusive access to Rideout Customs, Sara's Unisex Salon, One-Eyed Willie's, Electric Fang Tattoo, and the Stock 305 clothing store. None of it is sold separately after launch.

Ultimate Edition Upgrade

Already own or pre-ordered Standard? Rockstar sells a separate Ultimate Edition Upgrade so you're not locked out of the exclusive content after the fact.

Vintage Vice City Pack — a separate pre-order bonus

Not tied to which edition you buy: anyone who pre-orders before November 20, 2026 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, headlined by a 1955 Vapid Stanier classic car. Digital pre-orders of either edition also include one free month of GTA+.

So which one's worth it?

If you're not fussed about cosmetic vehicles/weapons/venues, Standard is the same core game. The $20 gap only buys exclusive flavor, not extra story content or a bigger map — worth it for completionists and GTA Online veterans who care about flexing rare items, skippable for everyone else.
